개인정보처리방침 — 토키 (Toki)

시행일: 2026-08-19 (2026-07-13 제정 · 2026-08-19 개정: 사용량 카운터·신고 내용 항목 추가, 음성 처리 문구 명확화) 토키(이하 "앱")는 이용자의 개인정보를 소중히 다룹니다. 이 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 처리하고, 왜 처리하며, 누구와 공유하는지 설명합니다.

요약 (한눈에)

• 광고 없음. 제3자 분석/추적 SDK 없음. 앱 사용을 다른 앱·회사에 걸쳐 추적하지 않습니다.
• 학습 기록은 기본적으로 내 기기에만 저장됩니다. 로그인하면 선택적으로 클라우드에 백업돼요.
• 녹음한 음성은 저장하지 않습니다. 발음 채점·음성 인식을 위해 처리 후 즉시 폐기됩니다.
• 계정은 선택입니다. 계정 없이도 앱의 대부분 기능을 쓸 수 있어요.

1. 처리하는 정보와 목적

앱은 위치정보·연락처·사진·카메라를 수집하지 않습니다. (전화 모드는 음성 전용이며 카메라를 사용하지 않습니다.)

2. 제3자 처리자 (하위 처리자)

앱의 음성·AI·백업·결제 기능은 아래 신뢰할 수 있는 서비스로 처리됩니다. 각 서비스는 자체 개인정보방침을 따릅니다.

이들에게는 해당 기능 수행에 필요한 데이터만 전달되며, 앱은 이 데이터를 광고 목적으로 판매·공유하지 않습니다.

3. 보관과 삭제

• 로컬 데이터: 앱을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다.
• 클라우드 백업: 계정이 있을 때만 존재하며, 앱 안에서 계정을 삭제하면 함께 삭제됩니다. 로그아웃만 한 경우에는 삭제되지 않고 남아 있어, 다시 로그인하면 이어서 쓸 수 있습니다.
• 음성 녹음: 인식·채점을 위해 서버로 전송된 뒤 보관하지 않으며, 기기에 임시로 만들어진 녹음 파일도 처리 직후 삭제합니다.
• 결제 기록: 「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」에 따라 대금 결제·계약 기록은 5년간 보관합니다. 계정을 삭제하면 이 기록과 회원 정보의 연결은 끊어져, 더 이상 특정 개인을 식별할 수 없는 상태로만 남습니다.

4. 이용자의 권리 — 계정 삭제

앱 안에서 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다. 설정 → 관리 → 계정 및 데이터 삭제. 로그인하지 않고 사용한 경우(자동 생성된 익명 계정)에도 동일하게 삭제할 수 있습니다.

삭제하면 즉시 사라지는 것: 이 기기의 학습 기록 전체 · 남아 있던 녹음 파일 · 클라우드 백업 · 계정 자체 · 사용량 카운터. 토키+ 구독은 계정 삭제로 해지되지 않습니다 — App Store·Play 스토어에서 별도로 해지해 주세요. 남는 것: 위 3항의 결제 기록(신원 연결 해제 상태). 삭제는 되돌릴 수 없으며, 이후 앱은 처음 설치한 상태로 돌아갑니다.

• 앱만 삭제해도 이 기기의 로컬 데이터는 함께 지워집니다.
• 대한민국 이용자는 개인정보 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지를 요청할 권리가 있으며, 아래 이메일로도 요청할 수 있습니다.

5. 아동의 개인정보

앱은 만 14세 미만(국외: 13세 미만) 아동을 주 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 연령 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 아동의 정보가 수집된 것을 알게 되면 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

6. 보안

전송 구간은 HTTPS로 암호화됩니다. 계정 토큰은 기기의 보안 저장소에 보관됩니다. 제공자 API 키 등 민감한 비밀키는 앱에 포함되지 않고 백엔드에만 저장됩니다.

7. 방침 변경

본 방침은 개정될 수 있으며, 중요한 변경 시 앱 또는 본 페이지를 통해 고지합니다.

Toki ("the app") respects your privacy.

At a glance

• No ads. No third-party analytics/tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or companies.
• Your learning records stay on your device by default; cloud backup is optional and only when you sign in.
• Voice recordings are not stored — they are processed for scoring/recognition and immediately discarded.
• An account is optional.

1. What we process, and why

• Microphone audio → pronunciation scoring, speech-to-text, live call mode. Not stored by us or on your device; sent to our speech processors (section 2) who handle it only on our instructions.
• Conversation text → AI replies & correction. Stored locally on your device; included in your optional cloud backup (with correction reports) once you sign in and back up; not retained by AI processing.
• Learning records (words, scores, progress, XP) → your progress & review. Local; optionally backed up to the cloud when signed in.
• Account info (name, email) → sign-in & syncing across devices. Only when you sign in, provided by Apple/Kakao/Google. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email; if you do, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address.
• Purchase info (subscription status/receipts) → verify & restore Toki+.
• Notification settings → daily local reminders; never sent off-device.
• Usage counters → daily usage limits (abuse protection). Server-side count of calls per anonymous/account ID per day, deleted after 7 days.
• Reports → handling reports of inappropriate AI replies. Only if you report: the AI reply text, the reason and your user ID are stored on our server; the ID is unlinked when you delete your account.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or camera. (Call mode is audio-only and does not use the camera.)

2. Third-party processors

Supabase (backend/auth/backup), Anthropic (chat & correction), OpenAI (realtime call), Deepgram (speech-to-text), Microsoft Azure Speech (pronunciation), ElevenLabs / Google Cloud (text-to-speech), RevenueCat/Apple/Google (subscriptions), Apple/Kakao/Google (optional sign-in). Each follows its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data for advertising.

3. Retention & deletion

Local data is removed when you delete the app. Cloud backup exists only while you have an account and is deleted when you delete that account in the app — signing out alone keeps it, so you can pick up where you left off. Voice recordings are not retained — neither on our servers nor on your device (the temporary recording file is deleted right after it is processed). Payment and contract records are kept for 5 years as required by Korean e-commerce law (전자상거래법); deleting your account unlinks those records from your identity.

4. Your rights — deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Manage → Delete account and data. This works for the anonymous account the app creates automatically, too.

Deleted immediately: all learning records on this device, any leftover voice recordings, your cloud backup, the account itself, and usage counters. Deleting your account does not cancel a Toki+ subscription — cancel that in the App Store or Play Store. Retained: the payment records described above, no longer linked to you. Deletion cannot be undone, and the app returns to a fresh-install state.

4b. Other rights

Removing the app also deletes this device's local data. Korean users may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing — by email as well as through the in-app deletion above.

5. Children

Not directed at children under 13 (14 in Korea); we do not knowingly collect their data and will delete it if discovered.

6. Security

Transport is encrypted (HTTPS). Session tokens are kept in the device's secure storage. Provider secret keys are never embedded in the app — they live only on the backend.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and will note material changes here or in the app.
